Shooting stars, meteor showers, and whatever I can find! I love running around the PNW and practicing my Astro photography! It pairs well with my love of camping and doing off grid adventures!

03. Dark Sky

I saw the Northern Lights for the first time in the Olympic National Park for the first time 3 years ago. Then I laded a job as a tour guide in Fairbanks and work as a seasonal tour guide!

Chasing the Milky Way in multiple locations. is my new hobby! I have been chasing the Milky Way for 3 years now and I am just getting started!

01. Milky Way Photography

In the summer, I love to visit some of my favorite locations around Washington and Oregon to capture the Milky Way and the meteor showers every August. I will also look for the Northern Lights to pop if the conditions are right. Since we are at the solar maximum this summer, I intend to chase the Aurora a little more in my region. Eventually, when I am empty-nested, I will start doing further travels with friends to experience some more national and international places.

Questions answered

I foresee visiting my northern friends in Canada quite a bit. I love chasing the Aurora and some of the hotsprings I want to shoot around Banff, Yellowknife and Churchill.

03. Future destinations?

The Pacific Northwest, Alaska, National Parks and Beyond! I prefer the more remote places. I will admit I am not into hiking uphill 20 miles to "get the shot" but I am willing to make a good trek and sit there all day and chill
