The last few summer we have been doing loads of camping. RV camping, tent camping and there was some backpack camping for the kids. For us the more we camp the more we learn and we have learned so much the last couple of years. These are the things we now love! I like to update these list yearly because things change, and we up our camping game. Feel free to save on Pinterest and check back for more suggestions to make your camping experience more comfortable and enjoyable!
Summers are made for adventures, camping, exploring and enjoying the weather in Washington State. Camping in Washington can take some advanced planning and prepwork and we have some tips depending on where you go in washington.
Hey there! I am Aimee and I live in the PNW with my wanderlust hubby and 2 teenagers! We love to adventure!
Even though camping is for getting away from tech and getting into nature, without most of the conveniences of the modern world… it is nice to have a little bit of the contemporary world with us while we are roughing it. The Blue Etii is convenient to have if you have a sleep apnea machine or want to change phones or camera batteries. The charge lasts us 3-4 days. It is convenient for packing along, and it works with solar for those more extended stays.
I also included some camera accessories, like a sturdy tripod and a clip for the camera. I use the clip-on my backpack, and sometimes hubby uses it on his belt!
The things you want to have with you because when you are in the middle of nowhere, you may need some amazing tools to help you get through the hike! The Garmin InReach is a portable device so you can get help in areas without reception. It is a good thing to have on long treks, backpacking, or if you have an emergency.
