I love Showit! I can’t tell you in words how much my love affair goes with Showit, LOL! Showit is my go-to recommend website builder every time I talk with a new client or customer. Showit is an amazing option for medium to small businesses and individual entrepreneurs and bloggers! Let me tell you more about why I use Showit when building a custom website design.
I started with Wix and built my first blog there, then moved to WordPress.com. I built the website quite a few times, but I never got the right functionality or look I wanted that represented me and my ideal branding. After years of trying, I came across a Showit developer Ebonee who helped me move my website over to Showit, and I dare I say I fell in love!
I am a creative at heart, and I felt I could finally show off my creative side with Showit. The more I looked into Showit, the more I realized it is a favorite for photographers and small businesses, and for a good reason. With WordPress, you typically find a theme that will do and try to work with the theme you’re using. The last theme I had ended up no longer being supported because of its age, which really sucked. I know with Showit, I will not have to word about it because it is a sustainable and reliable platform. BTW the support is pretty excellent as well.
Showit website says it best – “Showit is a drag-and-drop website platform that provides total creative freedom over the layout and design of your website, all without a single line of code. Finally, you get a website that is as hard-working as you are.”
This platform is so great for ANYBODY who needs a website. I have built websites for local large and small businesses, womenpreneurs across the country. I have also built websites for fellow bloggers, and this platform is, in my opinion, the BEST one for bloggers.
Showit works with WordPress.org on the backend, and it is easy to use. You aesthetically design it on Showit, and it drops your blog perfectly on what you created.
Use your favorite WordPress plug-ins on the back end as well.
You are limited to 20 plug-ins that Showit has chosen for you on the lower plan, but you will have access to all the plug-ins available if you go to the advanced plan. I would highly suggest if you’re going to upgrade to advanced eventually to use the plug-ins, do it from the start. When I went from the upper plan to the highest plan the upgrade took a few days and my website was offline for a few days. During that time I could not make any updates to my blog or my website either.
I would suggest you save some money if you can and buy the annual plan to get started. The annual plan saves you overall! I posted the prices below.
This is an easy-to-manage, Drop and Drag feature. This is the ONLY platform where you can create anything you want and do it without code.
There is no limit to pages and blogs! Some of the features have some aspects in common to using Canva and Adobe XD. It took me a moment to figure out the backend, but once you start playing around and if you’re tech-savvy at all, you will get the hang of it. If you still are struggling, then they have amazing customer service …

One of my favorite things about Showit is the amazing customer service. It is easy to reach out to them at any time and get any assistance you need. They respond quickly and are awesome to work with! I feel like I am getting help from a friend and not a robot because they are NOT robots. They are real people who know Showit inside and out! They are pretty quick on responding and always can help with any issues, big or small.
Suppose you have an existing blog; it is easy to transfer. One thing to keep in mind is it will take a few days for Showit to move items over and get your domain up and running when you get it started. Make sure you build that into your timeline.
You custom build on both the desktop and mobile! I love this because you can control what you want on each kind of device, and it looks amazing on both. You can update both side by side if you wish to, making it easier to keep things from getting too confusing.
The platform makes it easy to SEO optimize your website and your blog. On each page, you can add SEO keywords and each image. On WordPress, it is easy to download the Yoast plug-in and SEO optimize each blog!
If you are selling products, you can download the Shopify plug-in and use it for your store. You can get the benefits of using Shopify and the beauty using showit!
